Aaron
is one of the partners in The Summit Group of Oregon, LLC. Aaron was
born and raised in Salem. He started in the insurance business in 1993
and worked for a prominent insurance agency in 1994 selling all lines
of insurance and focusing on employee benefit packages. His hobbies
include many outdoor sports and more importantly his family. "I have
committed myself to my clients needs with sound advice, quality service,
and most importantly, a personal touch."

John
C. Petrie, CIC
John is the other agency principal. Born in Seattle, Washington, John
moved to Salem to attend Willamette University, where he received his
Bachelor of Science degree and lettered in basketball. After graduating
in 1984, he immediately began his insurance career and in 1995, earned his
Certified Insurance Counselor designation from The National Alliance for
Insurance Education & Research. John enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and
especially mountain climbing, where he and his wife Gloria have reached
the summit of many of the most prominent peaks in Oregon, Washington, and
California. John lives in Salem with Gloria and his son, Dylan.

Rachel Graham is an Account Executive for our agency. She was born in Salem and currently lives in historic Independence with her husband Dan and her two sons, Khristian and Daxten. Rachel enjoys classic cars, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She is a public spirited person with a wonderfully positive attitude. As a former business owner herself, Rachel understands the insurance related challenges facing business owners today. As a compassionate, determined professional, she can also help you with your personal insurance needs.

Carole is a fifth generation Oregonian. She and her husband Nick own a small family farm here in the Willamette Valley, where she enjoys gardening and caring for her animals. She is an avid antique collector, and has enjoyed serving on the board of directors for numerous state-wide service organizations. She graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology, and is now the Account Manager for our Property and Casualty Department. Carole brings over 30 years of insurance experience to our agency.

Leta Peterson is our Benefits Account Coordinator. She was born in Gainesville, Texas, moved to Tillamook, Oregon, and finally to Salem where she lives with her two children, Dominic and Kaitlin. She is an avid reader, and also enjoys baking, camping, and traveling. Leta has over ten years of management experience and is responsible for keeping our Life & Health Department running efficiently. She is well grounded and has the care and resolve to effectively serve our clients with their day to day service needs.

Gloria handles all the accounting and bookkeeping needs of our agency through her company, Ascension Accounting, Inc. With over 20 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience, Gloria not only manages our finances, but also our human resources. Because of our close association, Gloria is able to help our mutual clients both as a professional resource and as a day-to-day bookkeeper. She has two grown sons, Charlie and Joseph. In her spare time, she enjoys mountain climbing, hiking, reading, and is active in various church activities.
